During the implementation of the project stage, new preparative approaches to the synthesis of mono-, bi- and polynuclear coordination compounds based on pyrazole derivatives were developed, on the basis of which copper and zinc coordination compounds of different nuclearity and topology were obtained. X-ray structural analysis was carried out for all newly synthesized complex compounds, their molecular structure and crystal structure were described, their resistance to high temperatures was determined, spectral properties were investigated, and Hirshfeld surface analysis was carried out. Complex copper compounds have been investigated as catalysts for the degradation of phosphorus-limiting pesticides using the example of the common pesticide pirimiphos-methyl, which is extremely persistent. Using UV spectroscopy, the catalytic activity of six copper coordination compounds with substituted pyrazoles was investigated and it was established that all the investigated compounds are effective catalysts for the decomposition of pirimiphos-methyl. At the same time, among the investigated complexes, the coordination compound based on cuprum bromide with 4-methylpyrazole exhibits the highest catalytic activity, since the degree of degradation of pirimiphos-methyl reaches 89 % in 60 min during the catalytic reaction with the specified catalyst. The development of new catalysts for reactions of hydrolytic splitting of phosphoesters will make it possible to use them as a basis for the creation of means for neutralizing ecotoxicants, inparticular, organophosphorus pesticides, as well as poisonous substances.  Product Description popup.authors Holenia Іryna О.
