The purpose of the work is to develop projects for degassing of extraction sites and recommendations for ensuring the safety of mining operations in the mining and geological conditions of the «Yuvileyna» and «Stepova» mines of the PSU "MINE MANAGEMENT «Dniprovske» of PJSC «DFEK Pavlogradvugillia». Research methods - generalization and analysis of results, methods of mathematics. statistics, calculations according to standard methods. As a result of the work, the mining-geological and mining technical characteristics of mining areas 144 and 608 of pits of the «Yuvileyna» mine, 155, 156 and 186 of pits of the «Stepova» mine of PSU "MINE MANAGEMENT «Dniprovske» DFEK Pavlogradvugillia PJSC were analyzed. The calculation of the expected release of methane within the extraction sites, the air consumption for their ventilation, the parameters of drilling degassing wells and the required diameters of degassing gas pipelines was performed. The projects of degassing of extraction sites 144 and 608 of strata C6 of the «Yuvileyna» mine, 155, 156 and 186 of strata C6 of the «Stepova» mine have been developed. Recommendations have been developed to ensure dust and gas safety during coal mining operations in 186 pits of the «Stepova» mine and 586 and 134 bis pits of the «Yuvileyna» mine, as well as during dead-end mining of the «Yuvileyna» mine.
