Purpose - theoretical substantiation and development of theoretical and methodological foundations for the design and use of an immersive cloud-based educational environment of the university. Research methods: theoretical analysis, generalization, modeling, systematization. The principles and models of designing an immersive cloud-oriented environment are substantiated, the pedagogical conditions for the use of immersive technologies in professional training are determined, and methods for using immersive educational resources, computer vision, augmented reality, mobile and cloud technologies are developed. The scientific novelty of the obtained results is to clarify the structure of digital competencies of future specialists and to substantiate innovative models and methods of using immersive technologies in the educational process of universities. The developed models and methods are recommended to be used to modernize the educational process at universities, in particular in the training of future teachers and IT specialists. The results of the study can be applied to improve the effectiveness of professional training in universities by introducing immersive learning technologies based on open education and optimizing the use of IT resources through cloud computing.
