The purpose of the research is to improve medical care for patients who have suffered from COVID-19 by developing programs for screening, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of psycho-emotional, vegetative-somatic and cognitive disorders. The examination program consisted of the study and analysis of the somatic, neurological and mental status of patients during the acute phase and during six months after the illness, a sociological survey of patients and patients' relatives, and a retrospective analysis of the main symptoms and syndromes. The result of the work is the determination of the types of course of acute coronavirus disease at the ambulatory stage, which are associated with various features of the course of neurological and psychoemotional symptoms in the post- coronavirus period. Scientifically based algorithms for the diagnosis and prevention of neurological (namely, cognitive, somato-vegetative, pain) and psycho-emotional disorders have been developed, which will improve the effectiveness of diagnosis at the stage of outpatient care and the quality of life of patients suffering from post- acute syndrome.
