This makes it possible to increase the reliability and durability of building and engineering structures of long-term operation. The main regularities of the influence of the load frequency on the functional properties of shape memory alloys have been revealed. On the basis of the obtained regularities, a damping device, based on the pseudoelastic effect of shape memory alloys has been developed, which can be used to reduce dynamic loads on building structures and engineering structures. A methodology for studying the performance characteristics of a damping device has been developed, which includes a system for mounting, loading, and measuring the displacement of the device elements and the deformation characteristics of the damping elements. A methodology for predicting the functional properties of SMA specimens based on modeling the hysteresis loop with piecewise linear functions is proposed and the corresponding program code is implemented in the Python programming language. The project solves an acute scientific and technical problem, which is to create reliable and efficient damping devices that will reduce dynamic loads on load-bearing elements throughout their service life.
