The subject of the study is the factors contributing to the improvement of the effectiveness of the management of the social work system in conditions of uncertainty. The purpose of the work is to generalize and systematize the factors that contribute to increasing the effectiveness of the management of the social work system in conditions of uncertainty. Research methods – system and structural-functional analysis; comparative; historical; normative methods; method of statistical analysis, comparative generalization. The study carried out a comparative analysis of the mechanisms of state management of the social work_ system in Ukraine and Poland in order to identify the best practices, developed recommendations for their implementation in Ukraine in the conditions of war and post-war recovery. Ideological and theoretical origins are traced and practice-oriented skills of self-management in the social sphere and in social work in particular are defined, prospects for their further development are considered. The documentation of the needs of the population in social services as a basis for making management decisions was analyzed. The structure of management of the social services system at the community level in the Republic of Poland is highlighted, the types of social services provided in the community are considered (using the example of services for the elderly). Approaches to the introduction of digital electronic services into the system of social services in Ukraine are summarized, in particular on the basis of the latest information and communication technologies (ICT), as well as individual problems of this process are highlighted. The role of innovative teaching methods for social managers in war conditions is revealed, an analysis of the opportunities and challenges associated with the use of national online platforms to ensure continuous and high-quality training is provided.
