With the help of a complex method using chromatography, investigation of the propensity of specified coal beds to spontaneous combustion was carried out. It is established that coal of coalbeds n7в "Zahidno-Buzky" and n8в "Tonkuy-III" of mine "Mezhirichanska", n7н "Sokalsky" of mine "Stepova", n7в "Zahidno-Buzky" of mine "Chervonogradska" of SE "Lvivvugilya" is not dangerous for spontaneous combustion.
