The aim of the research work is to develop theoretical, methodological, and organizational provisions and to provide practical recommendations for managing the development of a small enterprise, using the example of LLC "NVP HORIZONT-NR" in the context of employing economic tools and improving its financial management aspects. The subject of the research work is the theoretical, methodological, and practical aspects of managing a small enterprise. The following methods were used in the research process: observation, comparison, abstraction, analysis and synthesis, generalization, systematization, classification method, monographic method – for determining the essence, types, and factors of small enterprise development; measurement, analysis, economic and statistical methods – for analyzing the economic condition; systematization, comprehensive approach – for identifying reserves to improve efficiency and developing a strategy for small enterprise development. The main practical product is an optimal development strategy for the small enterprise LLC "NVP HORIZONT-NR" and a comprehensive economic toolkit, which includes elements of strategic and tactical enterprise management. The scientific novelty of the research results is manifested in the development of theoretical and practical recommendations for improving the financial and management aspects of small enterprise development in Ukraine.
