Cause-and-effect relationships between the processes of food production, its sale and demographic consequences were revealed. Key marketing tools were identified and systematized, which allow the most effective influence on the market of agro-food enterprises within the framework of coordination of economic, environmental, and social tasks. The analysis of world experience and modern trends in the implementation of the SMART concept - specialization in the formation of a fundamentally new program for the development of the agro-food market in the region was carried out.
