The goal of the NDR is scientific and theoretical substantiation of the need to apply effective state management in the field of energy independence of the country by researching the prospects and problems that exist. The theoretical-methodological basis of research work is: dialectical, systemic-structural, formal-dogmatic (special-legal). The use of the dialectical method of learning social processes made it possible to take into account all the interrelationships of the considered phenomena, to objectively assess the state of management in the field of energy efficiency and energy independence. . The application of the system-structural method provided an opportunity to investigate the conditions for ensuring a high-quality mechanism of state management in the energy sector, with the help of the formal-dogmatic method, the basic principles of the state policy of energy independence were studied. Theoretical and methodological provisions and practical recommendations for improving the state management procedure in the field of energy efficiency and energy independence have been developed. The scientific research work was carried out on the order of Klimart PE, therefore the results of the work are used in the practice of the economic activity of the client enterprise. The results of the NDR can be used in the practice of economic entities in the field of electricity, as well as other types of economic activity.
