The specifics of the transformation of behavioral strategies in the field of social support in crisis situations, such as a pandemic, war (using the example of Ukraine) have been identified. Theoretical and methodological foundations for studying the influence of various behavioral strategies of households on consumption characteristics have been developed. A hypothesis has been put forward and empirically proven about the dominance of three strategies of consumer behavior in Ukrainian society; The impact of each strategy on the quality of life of the population was assessed. New consumer patterns that have formed among different groups of the population under the influence of the war are identified and described. Hypotheses have been put forward about the most common behavioral strategies of the Ukrainian population in relation to the current social support system.
