The object of research is the process of formation and analysis of information signals from radiation sources located in the study areas (waters) of the world's oceans. The purpose of the work is to create means of organizing experiments on a computer modeling complex for the study of hydroacoustic processes based on geographic information systems (GIS). The report contains the developed ontology of the process of hydroacoustic experiments and a description of the structural components of the computer complex that are proposed to be implemented. The modeling complex is built on a multi-layered organizational architecture and offers experiments using elements of the scenario approach. The essence of the scenario approach is to create scenarios for the analysis of various modeling processes, i.e. some formalized fixation of the sequence of application of modeling tools and procedures for assessing the quality of the results. The results presented in the report are proposed to be used in the educational process of the Department of Automation of Design of Energy Processes and Systems of KPI.
