For the first time, the possibility of obtaining transgenic maize lines of Ukrainian selection by Agrobacterium-mediated genetic transformation in vitro with stable inheritance of transgenes was proved. As a result of inter-factorial analysis (genotype, composition of cultivation media), it was found that among the eight tested Triticum spelt breeding lines, genotypes 3863, 3865 and 3995 have the highest frequency of regeneration, rooting and survival to septic conditions and are promising for obtaining biotechnological plants. The optimal conditions for cytogenetic studies of durum wheat roots were selected. When co-cultivating colonies of ascending yeast strains and their petite mutants, the reaction of parental strains to the neighborhood of their petite mutants was revealed - gradual absorption of the petite mutant colony.
