The purpose of the research is to develop a mechanism for strengthening the competitive positions of the national economic system in global, regional and local dimensions. Research methods: theoretical and methodological provisions of modern economic theory, system analysis, methods of statistical and economic analysis, programming, economic-mathematical modeling, etc. The result of the study is the formation of mechanisms for strengthening the competitive positions of the national economic system on the basis of enterprise personnel management and strategic development of the financial sector of Ukraine; summarizing the components of the enterprise's competitiveness in terms of financial and economic security; a package of recommendations on forecasting in terms of financial and economic security and the probability of a financial crisis at the enterprise was formed; measures to increase the economic security of the state in the innovative aspect; improvement of strategic planning of oil and gas companies; formation of a competitive strategy of business entities; determination of the impact of imbalances in the conditions of the transformational economy. The scope of application is the management of business entities, organizations and financial infrastructure institutions. The results of the work are also used in the educational process in the preparation of higher education applicants for the OPP "Finance, banking and insurance" and "Entrepreneurship, trade and stock exchange activity", when performing the relevant qualification works.
