The purpose of the work is a typological study of the lexical-semantic, semasiological, word-forming and phraseological levels of Romance, Germanic, Baltic, Slavic and other Indo-European languages; creating an etymological, lexicological, phraseological, cognitive and ethnolinguistic description of the named languages in accordance with modern scientific requirements. The topic consisted of 12 parts (subtopics): 1) "Borrowing in the lexical structure of modern Slavic, Germanic and Romance languages"; 2) "English-Ukrainian interlingual relations at the present stage"; 3) "Balto-Slavic cultural ties and their reflection in language"; 4) "Vocabulary of East Slavic origin in Crimean Tatar and other Turkic languages"; 5) "Sociolinguistic aspects of Romance-Slavic language connections"; 6) "Anthroponymics as a sphere of language interaction (on the example of Balto-Slavic historical contacts)"; 7) "Verbalization of the SUCCESS concept in modern English"; 8) "International vocabulary in poetic discourse"; 9) "Lexico-grammatical means of causation of joy and anger in the Polish language: comparative aspects"; 10) "Features of gamer slang in Germanic, Romance and Slavic languages"; 11) "Phraseologisms of French origin in the Belarusian language (based on the texts of V. Korotkevich)"; 12) "Linguostylistic means as a component of poetic discourse." The total volume of published materials on the researched issues is 25 printed sheets.
