The purpose of the work is to improve the technical level of lifting and transporting equipment by improving machine designs, manufacturing processes and operating modes. Research methods - theoretical studies on mathematical models using the Maple mathematical package, Excel spreadsheet, etc., experimental studies on laboratory installations using tensometric equipment. Мathematical analysis of cargo behavior during lifting operations using a mechanism with a wave gear reducer was carried out, which made it possible to make appropriate assumptions regarding the design of the mechanism to further reduce dynamic loads; it was established that the change in the thickness of the material of the shell of the powder tape from the original is most conveniently corrected by changing the compression force applied to the roller-electrode during the flow of the welding current pulse; it was established that the use of electrocontact surfacing provides an opportunity to develop a complete algorithm for mathematical modeling of the process of electrocontact surfacing of powder tape at the liquid phase stage; a specialized method of analyzing the structural performance of metal structures was developed to solve problems related to the operation of metal structures; additional conditions of interaction of the support circuit of the crane with the surface of the soil, which may arise during work, are established, which have a significant impact on operational stability. The expected implementation is in the development of new machines and mechanisms for heavy engineering enterprises of Ukraine.
