A new conceptual model of the development of the mentioned regulation at its third level has been developed through the improvement of the legislation on responsibility for economic crimes, on the basis of which it is proposed to carry out a comprehensive reconstruction of the relevant section of the Special Part of the Criminal Code of Ukraine in the way of partial decriminalization, recriminalization, changing the limits of the illegality of certain types of behavior, as well as optimization measures of legal influence on persons who commit economic crimes. The main stages of the evolution of scientific knowledge in the field of comparative criminal law are analyzed, and the consistent growth of interest in such research projects on the part of European, in particular Ukrainian, and American criminologists is shown. The position on the gradual rapprochement of the mentioned legal families, which includes, among other things, the processes of unification of certain provisions of criminal law, is substantiated. The nature of the influence of the processes of economic and legal globalization on the development of comparative legal research in the field of criminal law is determined. Using the example of the provisions of legislation on economic crimes, the methods of influence of globalization on the processes of convergence of criminal law norms is justified.
