It consists in the substantiation of theoretical and methodological approaches and scientific and practical recommendations regarding the formation and improvement of the ecological and economic aspects of the development of the agricultural sector of the border territories on the basis of the transformation of the current management model of cross-border cooperation. The object of research is the process of forming the ecological and economic foundations of the development of the agrarian sector of the economy of the border regions in the conditions of cross-border cooperation. The subject of the research is theoretical, methodological and practical recommendations for the formation and improvement of the ecological and economic foundations of the development of the agrarian sector of the economy of the border territories in the process of their cross-border cooperation as a key factor in the convergence of the development of the agrarian sector and reproduction of the agricultural resource potential. Research methods - the methodological foundations of the ecological and economic foundations of the development of the agrarian sector are based on the fundamental provisions of modern economic theory, the theory of the economy of nature use, regional economy, the economy of the agro-industrial complex and cross-border cooperation, which are highlighted in the works of domestic and foreign scientists on the ecological and economic problems of ensuring environmental safety agricultural sector of the economy, etc. The conceptual provisions and principles of the formation of ecologically safe development of the agricultural sector in the conditions of cross-border cooperation as a paradigm of national ecological security of Ukraine have been developed.
