The determination of the indicator of the evaluation of the efficiency of earthmoving machines and jib cranes and their mechanisms is based on the knowledge of the theory of system analysis. The indicator in the form of total efficiency characterizes the level of efficiency of each of the machines, and the process of comparing them with each other in the structure of homogeneous machines allows you to determine the best of them. Comparison with other groups of homogeneous machines and identification of the best machine in them allows the formation of an array of the most efficient machines for performing a given amount of work in the shortest possible time with minimal fuel consumption. The scientific principles of creating a new design of hydraulic motors based on standard power cylinders are presented. A modern method of diagnosing hydraulic systems by the value of the total efficiency and a method of improving the properties of working fluids based on the introduction of carbon nanoparticles are proposed.
