The subject of the study is a methodology to form foreign language communicative competence of future specialists in economic specialities. The purpose of the research work is to develop and experientially verify the methodology of intensive English language training for students of higher education of the second (master's) level of higher education in economic specialities based on the pedagogical technology of forming foreign language communicative competence. Research methods: theoretical – deduction, induction, analysis, synthesis, generalization, systematization, modelling; empirical – diagnostic, prognostic, observational to identify the level of communicative competence formation; a pedagogical experiment to identify the effectiveness of the program-content and educational-methodological support of a scientifically based system of formation of communicative competence. It is justified that the modern teaching format should be focused on more effective application of intensive methods, forms and means of teaching English. A model of a scientific-methodical system of intensive English language learning using pedagogical technology to form foreign language communicative competence has been developed. Pedagogical approaches, principles, pedagogical technologies, forms and methods contributing to the intensification of the English language learning process are defined.
