Research methods: theoretical - study, analysis and generalization of philosophical, sociological, pedagogical and psychological literature on the research problem with the aim of determining the conceptual foundations of the chosen topic, developing scientific approaches to determining the essence and content of the main concepts, developing and substantiating pedagogical conditions for the establishment of Ukrainian national identity in children and school youth; systematization and classification of empirical information; methods of comparative analysis, interpretation and generalization of facts; modeling; empirical - study, analysis and generalization of methodological materials of the educational foundations of the establishment of Ukrainian national identity in children and school youth; statistical - methods of mathematical statistics and processing of research results.. The novelty of the performed work: consists in substantiating the pedagogical conditions for the establishment of national identity (creation of an educational environment; training of teachers; interaction between family and school; use of methodical tools; educational technology for the establishment of national identity was proposed; the method of a formative experiment was developed; a formative experiment was conducted; an experimental checking the effectiveness of pedagogical conditions.
