The subject of the research is the technology of production of concrete blocks from fine-grained mechanically activated mixtures based on metallurgical waste. The purpose of the research is to improve the technology of preparation of mechanically activated fine-grained concrete mixtures based on blast-furnace granulated slag and to develop a technological scheme for the production of high-quality concrete products from them. Research methods - experimental studies were carried out to determine the particle size distribution and physical and mechanical properties of blast-furnace granulated slag after its treatment in a rotary mixer-activator in accordance with the current standards of Ukraine. Results: ̶ it was established that the use of a rotary mixer-activator provides simultaneous homogeneous mixing of concrete mix components, their enrichment, activation and partial fractionation in the presence of the required amount of water; ̶ the rational mode of mechanical activation of blast furnace granulated slag, a waste product of the metallurgical industry, in the rotary mixer-activator RS-06 was determined; ̶ proposals for the production of concrete blocks from fine-grained mechanically activated mixtures based on metallurgical waste were developed.
