The object of the study is behavioral addictions as factors of deprofessionalization. Purpose - to improve approaches and technologies for psychological diagnosis of behavioral addictions in servicemen and prevention of their deprofessionalization caused by addictive behavioral factors. Scientific novelty and degree of implementation of the main results of the research: modern scientific concepts of behavioral addictions in military personnel and their negative consequences are presented; conceptualized the concept of “behavioral addictions”, theoretically substantiated the psychological content and causes of their occurrence, phases and stages of development; diagnostic criteria and factors of behavioral addictions development are determined. For the first time, the peculiarities of the influence of addictive behavioral factors on the emergence of signs of deprofessionalization in the process of military and professional activity in servicemen are empirically substantiated. Based on the results of the research, the express methodology “Methodology for Determining Addictive Risk Groups of the Armed Forces of Ukraine” (V. Moroz) was developed and tested. This is the first time such work has been done. In the course of the research, 2 methodological manuals were published, and the results of the research were tested at a scientific and practical seminar. Application of the express methodology at the stages of psychological selection, training, intended use, and restoration of combat capability will improve the methodological support of psychological support.
