Therefore, the development of methodological recommendations for the design and installation of temporary highways and bridges on them is a timely task, given their absence in Ukraine in general. In the work, the analysis of regulatory and technical documents and technical literature by research direction is performed. Methodical recommendations have been developed regarding the type and scope of works on the construction of temporary highways and bridges on them. The classification of temporary roads is substantiated, and the peculiarities of their design are determined. The geometric parameters of the elements of the plan, longitudinal and transverse profiles of temporary roads are substantiated; substantiation of calculated loads on the construction of road clothing depending on the intensity of traffic, the composition of the traffic flow.
