The main goal of this work is to apply systemic analysis to existing developments presented in scientific programs and projects, identify their weaknesses, and provide recommendations for improving these projects and addressing their shortcomings. The research methods employed include systemic analysis, mathematical modeling programs, and air quality assessment using the atmospheric pollution index. The analysis covers programs such as “Environmental Protection Program for the Gradual Reduction of Pollutant Emissions by Economic Entities in Zaporizhzhia,” “Visions of Zaporizhzhia,” as well as projects like “Creation of New Biotechnological Ecosystems to Improve the Quality of Contemporary Water in Small Rivers of the Steppe and Forest-Steppe Zones of Ukraine” and “Environmental Passport and Regional Reports for 2023.” The significance of this work lies in the fact that the research findings can serve as a foundation for comprehensive monitoring of the environmental status of Zaporizhzhia.
