The purpose of the study is to extend the functionality of the SP “Master” steelmaking control system, taking into account operational data on the consumption of oxygen and natural gas in furnaces and data on the current state of oxygen lances. At the same time, provide a forecast of the temperature and chemical composition of the steel melting bath in all periods of steel melting, including the liquid period. Perform monitoring of SP "Master". Research methods – non-linear simplex method; thermodynamic analysis of the "metal-slag-gas" system. A thermodynamic model of a liquid steel melting bath, which includes metal, slag and gas phases, has been developed. The model allows to predict the main melting parameters before the actual temperature measurements and express metal analyzes begin, and then adjust the forecast trajectories based on the actual measurements. The readings of natural gas and oxygen flowmeters, positional sensors of the lance position were introduced into the model, which made it possible to increase the accuracy of forecasting. Based on the results of the conducted research, the algorithm for solving the problem of optimizing the deoxidation-alloying of steel at the outlet from the furnace has been improved; the list of available materials for alloying and charging of the melt has been expanded; the real-time control module for melting parameters has been improved with an operational forecast of the temperature of the liquid metal and the carbon content in it, starting from the warm-up and ending with the release from the furnace. SP "Master" was monitored for 44 heats. Results of R&D work were implemented in the technology of steel production in the Martin workshop of PJSC "Zaporizhstal".
