The subject of research is scientific and methodological principles of the formation of language competence among future specialists in international economic relations in the modern intercultural space. The purpose of the work is to development and creation of scientific and methodological support and practical recommendations for the study of language disciplines, taking into account the peculiarities of the specialty "International Economic Relations" in the modern intercultural space. To achieve the goal, the following results were obtained: - formation of professional foreign language competence of specialists in international economic relations was studied; - identified problematic issues and peculiarities of language training of students of economic specialties, in particular international economic relations, in institutions of higher education in Ukraine; - the scientific and methodological principles of the formation of foreign language competence among future economists are substantiated; - the role of foreign language competence in international business is defined; - foreign language communicative competence was investigated as a factor of activation and expansion of business opportunities at the international level; - the role of translation as an important component of communicative competence in the training of specialists in international economic relations is revealed. The results of research work are used in the educational process of the Institute of Management, Technology and Law, Faculty of Management and Technology of the SUIT in the study of disciplines: "Foreign language", "Foreign language (by professional direction)", "Business foreign language", "Foreign language of specialty".
