TECHNOGENIC AND ENVIRONMENTAL SAFETY OF ROCK DUMPS OF COAL MINES, SOLID WASTE LANDFILLS AND PYROGENICALLY TRANSFORMED TERRITORIES. Research object – natural and technical geosystems of abandoned mines, ecological state of landfills, impact on the environment, localization and elimination of fires. Purpose of the work – To assess the technogenic and ecological situation in the zone of influence of rock dumps of coal mines, solid waste landfills and post-pyrogenic territories within the Western Forest-Steppe of Ukraine. Research methods – theoretical and analytical studies, processing of statistical data, field studies, sampling of water, soil, collection of herbarium specimens. The features of the influence of environmental and man-made hazard factors of abandoned mines on the subsystem of natural objects (soils, surface and underground water bodies, air, biota) and renaturalization of the subsystem of artificial objects (devastated landscapes) using phytomeliorative methods were studied. The analysis of the physicochemical properties of landfill substrates and their impact on the environment was carried out. The processes of development of bow fires in natural ecosystems and the impact of their hazardous factors on the environment and biota were studied, as well as the development of devices for determining the fire hazard in forests and natural ecosystems based on weather conditions.
