The object of the study is the process of foreign students’ professional training at the first (bachelor) level of higher education in economic specialties. The subject of the study is the method to form foreign language cross-cultural communicative competence of foreign students – future specialists of economic specialties. The purpose of the research work is to develop and verify experimentally the methodology of forming foreign language cross-cultural communicative competence of foreign students at the first (bachelor) level of higher education in economic specialties. Research methods: theoretical – deduction, induction, analysis, synthesis, generalization, systematization, modeling; empirical – diagnostic methods (interviews, questionnaires, testing, analysis of the products of creative activity of foreign applicants), observational (observation, self-assessment) to identify the level of formation of foreign language communicative competence; a pedagogical experiment to identify the effectiveness of the program-content and educational-methodological support of a scientifically based system of foreign language communicative competence formation.
