The purpose of the work is to increase the safety of personnel during the organization and implementation of operational actions to extinguish fires and eliminate the consequences of emergency situations caused by shelling. The subject of the research are the issue of using fire thermal imagers for:  identification of victims at the scene of the emergency;  detection of potential danger in the premises;  detection of leakage points of liquefied gases and liquids in case of industrial and transport accidents;  determining the level of danger by detecting the remaining heated liquids in the tank;  conducting aerial reconnaissance;  detection of hidden and residual sources of fire;  identification of ways to return of GSPS unit;  inspections of the safety of installation of fire technical equipment and equipment for emergency rescue operations;  monitoring the stages of fire development;  checking the presence of voltage in conductors during a fire. Object of the research – use of thermal imagers during fire extinguishing and liquidation of the consequences of emergency situations. Subject of the research – fire thermal imagers. Research methods. The work will be performed using applied and analytical research methods. The collection and analysis of information on existing thermal imagers in the divisions of the State Emergency Service will be carried out. As part of the work, recommendations on the use of thermal imagers during firefighting and liquidation of the consequences of emergency situations caused by shelling will be developed. Practical significance of the obtained results. According to the results of the work, a report on the research and development work will be prepared, methodological recommendations for the use of thermal imagers during fire extinguishing and liquidation of the consequences of emergency situations will be developed.
