No. 1-pr, Berehove, Transcarpathian region, on the basis of hydrogeological, physico-chemical, microbiological and experimental studies on intact animals regarding the determination of the biological effect and safety of the use of water for internal and external use, compliance with the requirements of current regulatory documents popup.description2  The stage of preclinical research (predictive assessment of the quality and safety of use) regarding the underground mineral waters of the well № 1-PR in the city of Berehove, Zakarpattia region, was completed. The underground waters of the well № 1-PR, discovered in the deposits of the Tereblinsk and Bashevskaya worlds of the Miocene, were characterized in advance as carbon dioxide, iron, moderately mineralized chloride, hydrogen carbonate-chloride sodium, weakly acidic, thermal, containing orthoboric acid in the range from 26.0 mg/l to 71.0 mg/l. Viable microorganisms of various ecological and physiological groups, which are characteristic of natural mineral waters, are present in the microbial coenosis of MV: saprophytes, ammonifying, thione, etc. The identified microorganisms are not pathogenic for humans. The waters of well No. 1-PR have a moderate bactericidal effect against Escherichia coli. Experimental studies on intact laboratory animals under the conditions of course internal and external use have confirmed the biological activity and safety of mineral waters.
