Planar and spatial finite element models of escalator and running tunnels were developed for the conditions of the Dnipro metro. The substantiation of the change in force factors in the temporary lining of the escalator tunnel during the construction of NATM was carried out. During the numerical analysis, it was found that cementing the surrounding massif is the most effective for the conditions of the Dnipro metro. The substantiation of the parameters of the horizontal working, which lies in the layered rock massif, has been carried out. The obtained regularities of deformations and stresses of the contour of an unfixed working lying in a layered massif allow us to predict the change in the stress-strain state of workings of all diameters, other than single diameters.
