The priority direction of scientific and technical activity: fundamental scientific research on the most important problems of development of scientific, technical, socio-economic, socio-political, human potential. The main scientific directions formed in the framework of research work are the study of the theoretical and methodological foundations of the development of state-legal event. Among them: transformation of the Ukrainian legal system, development of institutions of legal and democratic state in Ukraine, protection of human rights, constitutional development and constitutionalization of branches of law, overcoming legal nihilism by increasing the level of legal culture, etc. A separate important direction is the study of European integration and the adaptation of the legislation of Ukraine to the legislation of the European Union. Expected results: the development of recommendations for the developing of law and state in Ukraine, especially in the context of the political and legal reform and Ukraine's course towards European integration, the production of the results of scientific research into the practice of state authorities and local self-government, judicial and law enforcement agencies.
