Main scientific results according to the Terms of Reference: an empirical study was conducted in which it was proven that the resilience of the individual is an important psychological factor that determines the behavior of the individual, his reactions and perception of the life situation. Moreover, it has been confirmed that it is the main predictor of locus of control. It has been found that in general, a sense of control is a basic psychological need of a person, caused by the desire to overcome uncertainty. effectively structure one's own life and achieve the desired goal. The loss of a sense of control is often accompanied by powerlessness, leads to stress and depression, however, at the same time, hyperbolized control of the situation causes significant mental stress and makes normal life impossible. Locus of control - determines how much a person believes that he controls the situations and events of his life; awareness of the degree of his own responsibility for the results of his own behavior. Locus of control has two orientations - internal (internal) and external (external). People with an external locus of control believe that their decisions are suppressed by external factors, such as other people, luck, chance, etc. In contrast, people with an internal locus of control tend to have a strong belief in their own ability to control and influence the situations around them.
