In this regard, there was an urgent need to use magnetic instruments during diagnostic and surgical procedures at all stages of providing medical care. According to the results of the practical use of Magnetic Surgical Instruments (MSI), it is necessary to improve and modernize them, to create additional instruments for special use, namely laparoscopic MSI. The main goal of the project is to create capabilities for the development and production of MSI for the detection and removal of ferromagnetic foreign bodies, the production of instrument sets and their transfer to military hospitals for testing. The main tasks of the project are: 1) Analysis of the previous experience of using the previously proposed laparoscopic MSI with ascertainment of positive and negative experience of practical use in various surgical directions; 2) Making appropriate changes to the design documentation based on the results of analysis and feedback from surgeons and preparation for small-scale production; 3) Procurement of the necessary equipment and materials for the manufacture of sets of laparoscopic instruments; 4) Development of a technological process for the production of medical instruments that will be included in the laparoscopic set; 5) Production and transfer of sets of laparoscopic MSI to military hospitals for testing.
