Registration Date 03-12-2024 Organization Sumy State University popup.description1 The development of a methodology for the collection of attributive information, description, analysis, systematization, and interdisciplinary interpretation of data regarding the physical condition and socio-political indicators of monuments and memorials, including those that suffered as a result of military operations or occupation, through their digital archiving with subsequent representation on a bilingual web-site to ensure the society’s sustainable development and increase Ukraine’s competitiveness in the world popup.description2  The project consists in systematic digitization, archiving and applied scientific research of the state of preservation and provision of historiographical information on Ukrainian monuments. Within the project implementation, the following scientific and technical results were obtained: 1. A concrete terminological apparatus of the study with clarified definitions of such concepts as “archiving”, “digitalization”, “cataloging”, “memorialization”, “monument”, and “Ukrainian identity”. 2. Template of a new universal digital record card of monuments displaying indicators of physical condition, attributive, data and socio-political narratives. 3. A selection of monuments for the analytical study of the project in the Sumy, Poltava, Chernihiv, Kyiv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Rivne, Zakarpattia, Ternopil, Lviv, Volyn, Zhytomyr, Odesa, Kirovohrad, Khmelnytskyi, and Cherkasy regions, which was formed on the basis of the analysis of state registers of immovable monuments of national and local significance. 4. Quantitative and qualitative indicators of memorialization (period of establishment, dedicated to whom/what, gender, social status, narrative) of monuments of the above areas. 5. Ukraine’s only bilingual (Ukrainian, English) public memorialization site on the Sumdu platform with visual and textual information about the monuments of the above regions (http://uammonuments.sumdu.edu.ua/ua/index.html, 2091 monument cards). 6.
