The biocidal activity of metal nanoparticles will be investigated, including the study of virucidal activity against the causative agent of bovine coronavirus infection, avian influenza H5N2, the study of bactericidal action against Salmonella, enterobacteria, mycobacteria, fungicidal (fungistatic) action of nanoparticles and the study of disinvasive action on helminth eggs. Based on the research, the optimal formulation of an innovative disinfectant will be developed and the modes of its application for preventive and forced disinfection of livestock facilities will be determined. The project will include determination of the toxicological characteristics of the developed product in laboratory animals, preclinical and clinical trials of the developed product (on the basis of various agricultural enterprises), study of the migration of nanoparticles into the body of target animals and study of their environmental impact. These tasks will be accomplished with the extensive use of modern methods of nanoparticle synthesis, as well as with the use of modern virological, bacteriological, toxicological and biochemical methods. The effectiveness of the developed disinfectant will be studied under the conditions of treatment of the territory of livestock premises both without and in the presence of animals. The effect of the developed disinfectant on the organism of the target animals will be established by studying hematological and biochemical blood parameters in accordance with standard methods. The created innovative disinfectant based on metal nanoparticles will have a wide range of antimicrobial effects, will be effective against pathogens of emergent infectious diseases.
