Aim of the Study: The objective is to identify the specific features of variability in the morphological and immunohistochemical composition of tissues during the development and progression of pathological processes. Research Methods: The study employed macroscopic and microscopic examinations, immunohistochemical and immunofluorescent analyses, as well as molecular-genetic and statistical methods. Key Findings: the uterus of sexually mature rats exhibited a typical structure with distinct morphological characteristics, which were altered under the influence of heavy metal salts. This exposure resulted in a decreased expression of estrogen and progesterone receptors; skin irradiation led to an increase in the density of melanosomes without altering the number of melanocytes; in the investigation of ovarian cancer and meningiomas with pathological biomineralization, there was an increased expression of osteoblastic markers, indicating active calcification associated with tissue dystrophy. The primary biomineral identified was calcium hydroxyapatite; analysis of hyperplastic processes in the endometrium revealed variability in the expression of ERα and COX-2, which may contribute to the development of related pathologies. Conclusions: The findings underscore the need for a comprehensive approach in the diagnosis and treatment of pathologies related to hormonal imbalances, toxic exposures, and biomineralization. The results of this research have been integrated into the educational curriculum of the Department of Pathological Anatomy Product Description popup.authors Budko Hanna Yu. Hyriavenko Nataliia I.
