CALCIUM CHANNEL BLOCKERS, MEDICINES, PHARMACEUTICAL ANALYSIS, VALIDATION, SPECTROPHOTOMETRY Object of the study - Justification of approaches and development of new original validated environmentally safe spectrophotometric methods for determining active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) from the group of calcium channel blockers (CCBs) in medicinal products. Research objective: creation of generalized approaches to the development of new original validated environmentally safe spectrophotometric methods for determining APIs from the CCB group in medicinal products. Research methods: To develop analytical methods, UV and visible spectrophotometry were used. The study design included a methodology for selecting reagents for further analytical development of BCC drugs and the development and validation of seven environmentally safe spectrophotometric methods for the determination of amlodipine (AML), lacidipine (LAC), levamlodipine (LAML), nifedipine (NIF), nimodipine (NIM), nitrendipine (NIT), lercanidipine (LER) in drugs by derivatization with sulfophthalein lauryl sulfate and three alternative spectrophotometric methods by derivatization with aromatic aldehydes.
