Based on the above, the purpose of the work is to provide scientific and practical scientific services for the implementation of methods for assessing the effectiveness and functional capacity of the management system of an industrial enterprise. The systemic understanding of management, its evolutionary features are considered, the author's idea of evolutionary management is substantiated; the essence of the phenomenon of functional capacity as a basic characteristic and criterion for the effectiveness of the enterprise management system is revealed. Recommendations are given for the use of the method for measuring the functional capacity of the management system, a system of functional capacity indicators is proposed that meet the requirements of the fundamental principles of management, which orient the enterprise management system to achieve target performance indicators. The place and prospects for the practical application of the method for measuring functional capacity in the enterprise management system are determined. Recommendations for assessing management effectiveness based on measuring the characteristics of its functional capacity have been developed.
