To study the dynamics of the lipid profile in individuals with hypertension and dyslipidemia who have experienced COVID-19. Research methods ̶ analyzed the results of laboratory values, evaluated: the level of glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c), fasting plasma glucose in all persons with a PCR-confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19 without diabetes and with a history of diabetes; total cholesterol, low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL), cholesterol, triglycerides, C-reactive protein (CRP) for 24 weeks at 8-week intervals. We studied the relationship between the level of glycated hemoglobin, markers of the inflammatory process. Markers of inflammation (erythrocyte sedimentation rate, C-reactive protein, and interleukin-6) were also evaluated. Regardless of the presence of confirmed diabetes, a significant positive correlation of HbA1c level with inflammatory markers ESR, CRP, and IL-6 was noted.
