It will be the basis for the digitalization of the product development process that is not inferior to world analogs by main characteristics. During the project`s first stage, it was established that the range of compression products is determined by amputation levels and design features, but they are usually manufactured in a limited number of standardized sizes. It has been found that 3D scanning is a promising way to establish the relationship "body size - product size". Such emerging technology allows to analyze a real object and collect three-dimensional data about its shape and morphology. The results of 3D scanning provide the opportunity for the accurate reproduction of complex geometric shapes and the obtained frames can be re-evaluated without the patient. It is relevant for people with limited mobility. A new design strategy for compression products is proposed that will ensure enhanced product design according to individual needs and subsequent manufacturing of a personalized product. The obtained results are the prerequisites for further digital transformation of the 3D scan data into a technological map for a knitting machine. Knitted materials with different ranges of density, stretchability and elasticity have been developed.
