Розробка й перевірка математичних моделей прогнозування урожайності біоенергетичних культур Head Prysiazhniuk Oleh I., Доктор сільськогосподарських наук Registration Date 13-12-2024 Organization Institute of Bioenergy Crops and Sugar Beet of National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine popup.description1 Develop a comprehensive yield forecasting system for bioenergy crops based on the spectral methods for evaluation of the plant vitality state using portable spectrophotometers, identification of causal relationships between the plant growth and development, and further modeling biological processes reflecting changing weather conditions, nutrition regime and the application of agronomic measures. popup.description2  Based on the results of conducted research, it has been established that all prerequisites exist for the expansion of such bioenergy crops in Ukraine as giant miscanthus and energy willow. These plants demonstrate a high level of productivity, with annual yields of 20 tons per hectare for willow and 25 tons per hectare of dry mass for giant miscanthus. The practical aspects of using the Sentinel-2 satellite and multicopters equipped with spectral cameras for determining NDVI indicators of bioenergy crops were experimentally identified. The study also examined the efficiency of using portable photometers to assess plant conditions and substantiated the feasibility of employing express methods as indicators for nutrient supply and water deficit stress. To forecast baseline yields under specific regional conditions, it is recommended to utilize the regression model proposed by Vossen, which considers average yield, a linear time trend, and a linear regression function. For a particular agro-climatic region, the yield of bioenergy crops is determined using a formula that accounts for the total land area of the region, the proportion of land allocated for bioenergy crops, and the forecasted yield for the regional conditions. The bioenergy crop yield forecasting system conventionally consists of the following stages: 1. Determining the plantation areas of bioenergy crops within the GIS map of the region, specifying plantation age and crop varieties. 2. Refining environmental conditions, including soil type, water supply regime, and mineral nutrition. 3. Monitoring weather elements. 4. Observing vegetation indices. 5. Modeling yield.
