The project aims to establish a fundamental association between cellular senescence and the pathogenetic features of cardiovascular pathology in high-risk patients. By conducting correlation analyses of cellular senescence markers, endothelial dysfunction, and other traditional clinical risk markers, the project will define new diagnostic and prognostic criteria for a comprehensive clinical assessment of cardiovascular homeostasis. Early individualized risk diagnosis and pathogenetic treatment, based on the developed criteria, will enable the implementation of a novel patient management strategy, reducing the disability and mortality. This holds significant economic and social importance in the context of maintaining national security.
