Using quantum-mechanical calculations within the framework of density functional theory, the optimal crystal structure of the studied compounds was determined. Isomorphously substituted apatite-like compounds were synthesized. The structural properties of the synthesized samples were analyzed using X-ray diffraction, infrared spectroscopy, solid-state nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy, magic-angle spinning (MAS NMR).
