The object of research is the processes of growth, development and peculiarities of the formation of the common bean grain yield and their dependence on the studied factors. The subject of research is a set of theoretical and applied aspects of the formation and development of common bean plants; peculiarities of the production process, elements of cultivation technology: variety, methods and terms of sowing, seed sowing rates, economic indicators of common bean cultivation technology. The goal of the 2024 stage: study the influence of sowing dates and plant density on the processes of forming the yield and quality of common bean grain under different schemes of wide-row sowing in the Forest-Steppe. Research methods are laboratory, field, measurement-weight, statistical. According to the results of the research, it was found that the highest yield of common bean grain in all variants of the experiment was in the first sowing date. The highest indicators were characterized by variants of the Mavka variety with a density of 550 thousand plants per hectare for both sowing methods (1.64 t/ha and 1.69 t/ha). The lowest grain yield was in the Panna variety. A significant influence of sowing dates and plant density on the yield of common bean grain was established. The highest protein content in common bean grain in all variants of the experiment was in crops of the first sowing date. It varied within 22.16–24.35% versus 20.76–23.78% for the second sowing period. The highest protein content in grain (23.86% and 23.50%) was observed in crops of Mavka and Panna varieties with a row spacing of 60 cm and a density of 350 thousand plants per hectare for the first sowing period. Keywords: common bean, variety, field germination, sowing method, sowing dates, plant density, interphase periods, yield. Product Description popup.authors Balanіuk Lidiia O. Parfenіuk Oksana O.
