Aleksieienko, Доктор технічних наук Registration Date 17-12-2024 Organization Dnipro University of Technology popup.description1 The main goal is to study and develop the scientific and technical principles of reducing the level of aerodynamic noise of small and medium-sized wind turbines, which occurs as a result of the formation of vortex emissions from the leeward side of the wind turbine blade and their further interaction with the trailing edge of the blade. popup.description2 Parametric studies of the aerodynamic processes occurring during the flow around the blades of small and medium-sized horizontally axial wind turbines were carried out, and the corresponding design parameters of the investigated models of the blade segments were determined. A method for numerical modeling of aeroacoustic processes occurring in the near field around a streamlined profile was developed. The method is based on the Navier-Stokes equations and the large-eddy simulation turbulence model for viscous compressed gases using direct acoustic modeling and a hybrid method. A method for physical modeling and experimental studies of the noise characteristics of a wind turbine blade segment in an anechoic chamber was also created. Using the NACA0012 profile as an example, a design was developed and a test module with a blade segment model was manufactured. The developed numerical-experimental method was verified by comparing the numerical and experimental results obtained during the performance of scientific work and the known research results by other authors. The scientific value and relevance of the results obtained lie in the development and substantiation of the created methodology for studying aeroacoustic processes occurring during flow around aerodynamic profiles and in establishing the correspondence of the obtained numerical and experimental frequency characteristics, which allows it to be used for the development of devices for reducing aerodynamic noise of wind turbine blades. The results of the first stage of work can also be applied in developing aerodynamic noise reduction technologies in other devices, the structural elements of which have the form of aerodynamic profiles, such as fan blades and propellers of unmanned aerial vehicles. And, accordingly, they can serve as a scientific base to ensure the stable development of scientific research in other fields, such as transport, mechanical engineering, rocketry and space technology.
