The subject of the study includes the historical, architectural, and artistic aspects of preserving cultural heritage objects, regeneration, and reconstruction of the historical architectural environment, as well as challenges related to preserving cultural heritage during full-scale war. The aim of the work is to comprehensively highlight the aspects of shaping the architectural environment in a post-industrial city, to establish methodological foundations for preserving and regenerating the urban architectural environment for use by enterprise managers, architects in the practice of architectural design and reconstruction, and also for university instructors and students.
