Complex theoretical studies of the yields of radioisotopes - products of photonuclear reactions, for various schemes of their stimulation, namely, direct (electrons generate bremsstrahlung directly in the targets of isotopes that stimulate photonuclear reactions: (γ,n)-, (γ,f)), and indirect (electrons generate bremsstrahlung in converters that stimulate photonuclear reactions: (γ,n)-, (γ,f)- upon interaction with isotope targets). popup.description2 Research project report: 45 pages, 20figures, 45 sources. The object of research is the yields of photonuclear reaction products stimulated on electron accelerators for the needs of alternative production of medical radioisotopes. The purpose of the work to conduct comprehensive experimental and theoretical studies of the yields of radioisotopes (products of photonuclear reactions) for direct and indirect stimulation schemes on electron accelerators to meet the needs for alternative production of medicalradioisotopes. Research methods – calculations of the characteristics of bremsstrahlung beams generated at electron accelerators and factors affecting their characteristics using the GEANT4 toolkit; modeling of the outputs of photonuclear reaction products using Monte Carlo codes – Talys 1.96 and GEF; use of a self-created program to determine the efficiency of using bremsstrahlung photon beams to stimulate photonuclear reactions for various activation schemes at the electron accelerator. The main scientific results – a working program for modeling the parameters of electron beams and bremsstrahlung photons generated on electron accelerators for the stimulation of photonuclear reactions necessary for the production of medical radioisotopes using the GEANT4 toolkit has been created; the optimal parameters of the scheme for direct and indirect stimulation of photonuclear reactions on the electron accelerator – the M-30 microtron, taking into account its technical characteristics, have been established; a computer program for calculating the efficiency of using a bremsstrahlung beam for the stimulation of photonuclear reactions, taking into account the cross sections of the irradiated samples, has been created; the outputs of the products 18 F, 57 Co, 95 Zr, 99m Tc, 121 Te, 126 I (potential medical radioisotopes); a method for express determination of integral photoneutron fluxes in bremsstrahlung beams of electron accelerators.  Product Description popup.authors Oleinikov Yevhen V. popup.nrat_date 2024-12-17 Close
