The object of the research - methods of calculated assessment of fire resistance of wooden overlapping with fire-retardant cladding. The subject of the study is the influence of the design parameters of fire-retardant cladding on the results of the estimated assessment of the fire resistance of wooden overlapping under the thermal effects of fire. The purpose is the influence of the design parameters of fire-retardant cladding on the results of the estimated assessment of the fire resistance of wooden overlapping under the thermal effects for standard temperature regime of fire. Research methods - methods is to develop a calculation method of temperature distributions inside the section for wooden overlapping with fire-retardant cladding. The experimental, tabular and thermo-physical methods with mathematical modeling are used to construct contour lines of the carbonization zone. On the basis of the conducted researches the calculation method of determination of bearing capacity of wooden overlapping with fire-resistant cladding is substantiated and offered. By means of mathematical modeling nomograms for estimation of a class of fire resistance of wooden overlapping with fire-retardant cladding which allow to predict an exact geometrical configuration of not charred part of section of a wooden overlapping and to define its real bearing capacity are constructed. Experimental-calculation method of bearing capacity of wooden overlapping can be used to improve and supplement the existing legal documents of Ukraine. The resulting calculation method is recommended to be implemented in the educational process for Institutions of higher education of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, laboratories and testing centers.
